June 30, 1997 -- I bought a few new CDs the other day...you know, when I should have been posting all those OTHER late entries? At least my nails look nice!
Anyway...I finally got around to getting a few CDs that I've been looking for....Ned's Atomic Dustbin, and some Mighty Mighty Bosstones stuff. I listened to one of the BossTones albums...the other ones have been sitting there next to the Jewel CD I got a few days before...which I ALSO haven't listened to yet. I keep going back to the same CDs, and the same songs...Toad the Wet Sprocket, one BossTone's album, and the Wall edit Brian made. I can't get past them.
Have you ever been in such a mood for a certain song that couldn't listen to anything else? That's what I'm doing lately. And I still haven't picked up my trumpet. God, I'm a bad musician. It's just no fun to play alone when you love marching band...even when you do wear polyester.
